Our goal is to make The Snowline a destination pub for travellers and food lovers from all over Victoria.
Our head chef and co owner Simon Vernieux has worked extensively with local hospitality guru Ben Knox to create the right balance of traditional pub food and house specialties that take advantage of the wonderful seasonal produce available in the North East. Between them they have over 20 years experience working in some of Victoria's finest restaurants and bars including The Stokehouse ( St Kilda), Chris' (Lorne), The Grand Hyatt(Melbourne) and Fountains(Mt Hotham) to name a few. Ben has a passion for fresh organic produce spending last summer tending to his extremely productive vegie patch. We also believe strongly in fresh food and are proud that our entire menu is now made on premise with only the chips coming out of the freezer.
We use local trout from just down the road and our A1 grade Black Angus Scotch Fillet from the Kiewa valley is fast gaining a reputation as one of the best steaks in the region. Our menu is complemented by a fantastic selection of local wines that demonstrate the variety of quality wines available in the North East.
